Security Questions

How is user access managed?

We can provide a full administrative access to your account so you can create users and roles as you need. Or we can manage all of this for you.

Who else has access to view our vehicles / account?

By default the only access to your account will be the administrator account. This is either handed over to you, or managed by us. New users will only be created by you, or by the instruction of you.

How is the video footage secured on the DVR? What’s stopping someone accessing the contents if the DVR is stolen?

Specific playback software is needed to not only play back, but also access the footage. The file are not stored in a normal file system but a file system specifically designed to achieve the job that is required. Therefore, the HDD cannot be read by a normal PC.

Can the uploaded footage be intercepted as its being transmitted to your cloud based servers?

No, the data is not transmitted over the public internet. We use a private APN for the transmission of data from the modem, then a VPN to our server.
