The Vehicle Group is proud to have been featured in both The Northern Echo and the Darlington & Stockton Times following a recent visit from former Prime Minister and Richmond & Northallerton MP, Rishi Sunak, to our headquarters in Colburn, North Yorkshire.
During the visit, Mr Sunak toured our 27,000 sq ft facility, meeting members of our research, development, engineering and manufacturing teams to gain first-hand insight into how The Vehicle Group designs and manufactures innovative safety technology for commercial vehicles.
The visit highlighted our commitment to developing British-made technology that improves road safety through advanced camera systems, driver safety solutions and AI-powered hazard detection tools. Mr Sunak also saw how we utilise cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printing and rapid prototyping to accelerate product development, improve vehicle efficiency and support sustainability initiatives.
As a growing UK manufacturer, we are proud to employ more than 70 people at our Colburn facility, with around 30% of our workforce coming from veteran, reservist or military family backgrounds. Our solutions are trusted by some of the UK’s largest fleet operators, including Royal Mail, Next and Ocado, while also supporting customers across international markets.
